It wasn't. I'll have that celebration in a few months, in the sun, a bbq and whiskey (Since my mom hates weedusers)

He's certainly an Old Koot but tbh I'm skeptical about his age.
This is him approx 1902 (approx 70 years old). Seems small for that age but who knows.
I will try to get an expert opinion but regardless he gets a membership here! :) (sun)

How Appropriate for our vacationing Royalty! (flex)

Happy BDay Jan Hammer (born 17 April 1948)

Hammer's original scores for three major motion pictures complement a long list of credits for documentaries, "made-for-TV" movies in the U.S., commercials, and station identifications. But his greatest challenge came in the fall of 1984, when the producers of Miami Vice enlisted him to commence the rigorous weekly schedule of scoring the series.
The popular success of his music on the series was evident after just one season when, on 2 November 1985, the Miami Vice Soundtrack hit number one on the Billboard Top Pop album charts. The album achieved quadruple-platinum status with U.S. sales of more than four million copies.

On this day in (nasty) Old Koot music history:

1987, A record store in Callaway, Florida was forced to closed down and a part-time clerk was arrested after selling a copy of '2 Live Is What We Are' by 2 Live Crew to a 14 year old boy. Officials had deemed the recording "obscene" because of its pornographic lyrics.

I remember this being the top story on newscasts.

Hell yes! Back in the 80's. Jams and the top 20 were the best! I was always rooting for Dre Day! I remember always rooting for Hreen Jelly - 3 Little Pigs as well.

DOS games. You can be a New Old Koot if you never brought out the book of flags to help you find Carmen Sandiego. Or at least being aware of the game.

That was my year of birth as well. ;)

46 ain't so old, but my eyes are starting to go (probably years of staring at a computer screen), my metabolism has slowed to a crawl, I can't hear as well (probably years of loud metal music), get off my lawn, can't stand young people and ignorant (stupid) people... yeah I might not be considered old by some, but sometimes I definitely feel old. :D
