John Wick 2 is gun porn extraordinaire... Keanu trained for 3 weeks solid on tactics and 3 gun training before filming.

The Void looks like it might be really good. Very Lovecraftian vibe from it.

Bright trailer from Netflix with Will Smith. It looks a little like the game world for Shadowrun, which intrigues me...

The Void; a very Lovecraftian tale set in the 1980's shot in an old school style, creepy, viscous, and apparently very gory... It looks amazing. NSFW!

I saw someone in the Facebook comments complaining that this takes place in Seattle rather than in Tokyo. Also, they made the point that even though it is in Seattle, they could have cast a Japanese-American in the role.

Everyone kept trying to explain to her that this is an adaptation, and that they have already made multiple movies which are directly based on the anime and take place in Japan with Japanese actors. She still wouldn't have it, and for some reason kept demanding that this would be terrible because it's not going to be a perfect clone of the anime.

Frankly, I'm excited for it to be in Seattle, because that's near where I live. xD Seriously, though, it makes sense to base it in America in order to cater to the American viewing public. They've already milked the series for all it's worth in Japan, but it has the capability of creating something really interesting if done right in this adaptation. I just hope they make Light crazy enough by the end. Like, totally psychopathic, able to justify any actions he takes as "for the greater good". Man, I really just hope they do the series justice.

How underwhelming. Flat jokes, boring, muddy visuals and it looks no fun. I'm sure i'll see it at some point but I don't fancy spending money for the privilege.

fuck that clown! i don't care what anyone says. that shIT scares me...but it's not the screen depictions. it's the memory of reading that book.

literally had to throw it across the room...so freaked out my eyes were watering. i was 12 when i took on that beast and to this day it remains the most frightening novel i've ever read. Pennywise is the reason i hated clowns from that point on, too.

i just ignore the ending /nod
