LOVE LOVE LOVE. Yes I would just exactly follow Ross's directions since I have no "mind's eye". I think I'd struggle with traditional art school teachings but his I think I could do.

older commission piece, i think it took 6 or 7 months at the time. was my first big commission and i remember i was approached by a gentleman who was interested in my style in regards to how i paint women. he was a photographer and had snapped a picture of one of his models and wanted to know if i could replicate in oils. ofc i agreed. curious tho... becuz at the time i was working on many female studies and i had thought up to that point that they presented too many masculine features. but i indulged the man and he was very happy at the result. i was too! yay! :D

im very much out of my element here.. but im working on painting space on this girls wall for a commission. i have my airbrush gun, in case things might go south, but im trying to do most of this in spray paint medium.. first off, props to every graff artist in the world. spray cans suck and can be problematic at times, plus it is quite tiring. lol couldnt be on any hot boy tagging mess... i would get caught up real quick, i can already see it. but it is a tricky medium.. its fumes are quite potent and so i had to get a respirator. the medium is real thick-like and dries kinda fast, so you have to work fast.. whew, sometimes i feel like i get in over my head. regardless, im gonna go monster on this later today.. :D

How amazing!! I've often toyed with having a tattoo artist friend do a mural on one of the walls in my home. I cannot begin to fathom the planning it takes.

I have never painted anything in my life. I love looking at these. They are engaging and inspiring. Especially the color choices (or lack of color). Really interesting, even if I am uneducated in the ways of the paintbrush. Great work, everyone!

Hoooly shit that's effing cool! Amazing work man! :D

If you ever decide to break into MONDO style work for horror movie posters I will be a frequent buyer, or at least your biggest fan! I love mondo style poster art, but it's so hard to find anything really good that's not like $5k on Ebay. I feel like your style would work great for that kind of thing. ;)

I like minimalist style mondo work like Drew Struzan's piece for John Carpenter's The Thing...

Thanks guys! and the blue booties  i nabbed some from the ulitity guy so as not to track the spray paint all over.. what a mess lol

And Feyd... definitely something to ponder my friend. I followed a bit of his work some, but ill have to research a bit more. sounds like a curious project and from what i gather, the minimalist art is quite clever, full of puns.. if i did try this, i would absolutely have to follow suit :D
